Too late to start ballet?

Not about my age, but since its February, is it too late to start going to ballet classes when the recital is June? Maybe I can start and just NOT be in the recital? you see, my friend and I want to start but we are afraid we wont be able to until september which is making us super sad, haha. we cant afford private lessons so we need to join a class!!! please tell us we can!! we are seriously distraught over this :(

absolutely you can. about the recital, it just depends on the level of the recital as a whole, and your level of comittment. i myself did ballet for four years to help my figure skating and i think its a great thing to do.

if you still can join the class, then by all means do so. if you should get good enough by recital time perhaps the instructor will allow you in the recital. if not, then you have a great headstart on next years and the longer you wait the worse it will get.
You probably won't be in the performance because studios usually don't put lower levels in performances, but it's not too late to start.
of course you can. talk to the teacher of the class about if its possible for you not to do the recital.
i would just start and not do the rectial. or mayb the teacher just started on the recital so ull b able to catch up quickly. go check out the class first of all.

You CAN... but first, join the class and see how you do. It may be that they haven't started the recital dance yet, and it's pretty easy to learn, since you practice it a LOT, even if you're just starting ballet. But if you feel like, once you start taking it, that's it not your thannggg, you can drop out and start again in September or never do it... OR, like you said, just start now but don't be in the recital. Either way, I think you should try it out. GOOD LUCK!

And yeah, maybe you can just have lessons and not do the recital. I think that's a good idea.
id say join the ballet classs now. u got plenty of time to learn the recital :) and if u think its just too hard or not ready then just not do the recital. that doesnt mean u cant learn from it

wut they'll probably do is just put u in the bak or put u in a spot where a girl is absent. there are plenty of ways. its not late! go for it!
Yeah you can start and not be in the recital or you can learn the dance it is never too late.
