I want to do ballet, but i weigh 125 pounds. How can i loose weight fast?

i really, need to lose weight fast, i want to lose at least 30 pounds so that i can be better at ballet and look the part. Please help me. :)

That seems like that is too much weight to loose. But if you are willing here is a recipe for quick weight loss, but you will gain it back pretty shortly after you stop. First, make sure that you drink at least a gallon of water a day, I find it better when I get up to closer to 2 gallons. For breakfast have 1 pack of plain oatmeal with 1 serving of skim milk. Make sure you get the fortified oatmeal. For lunch have 1/2 can of solid white tuna on as much greens as you like. No carrots, onions, tomatoes, etc. Nothing with a high sugar content. Cukes are pretty good. No dressing. For dinner have baked chicken breast seasoned with any fresh herb or seasoning with as much spinach as you like. Have this with a serving of skim milk as well. Run for an hour in the morning and in the evening. By the end of three weeks you should be up to about 6 miles a day and have lost about 20 lbs. The diet sucks, but it does work.

That is too big of a percentage of your body weight to loose unless you are an overweight third grader. My friend took 12+ years of dance class (jazz, tap, ballet, including pointe) and ended up being a graceful waitress. You can't loose weight fast, it's unhealthy. That said, cut out sugar, eat lots of vegetables, whole grains, and lean protein. Don't go below 1700 calories a day, this would stall weight loss because your body would go to starvation mode and retain fat for survival. For a test, tell some adult that you want to lose 30 lbs. If they look at you like you are retarded, then you are on the road to an eating disorder and should switch goals.
I guarentee that is not a healthy weight!

Just eat and throw it up JUST KIDDING!! Just condition and build up your body strength, do classes at your gym *u better be a member of one* and just eat healthy ask your doctor what u should eat. Trust me it works! DO NOT FALL 4 THOSE ADS ON TV!
Like others said, that is quite a drastic drop. What is reasonable for you is age, height, to figure out a proximate idea of what is a reasonable body weight . . . and then if need be lose it GRADUALLY. Sudden and drastic weight loss can be very dangerous.
95 pounds is not a healthy weight for a ballerina. They are athletes and have muscle mass like anyone else. Eat healthy and practice a lot.
You should try to eat green veg thoughout the day and nothing else as there are less calories.

How tall are you? Because I'm 5'4'' and I weigh 122lbs.



And I am a ballerina. You are not overweight, and you don't have to be skinny to do ballet. Bigger girls have more muscle which helps them dance better.



Setting your goal at 30pounds is just stupid, Be realistic, and learn to love your body. Be happy you're not dying of an eating disorder.

it dependce on your height. Like im 5 foot 1 and my weight is in the green on the chart.
