How am I supposed to wear a ballet outfit??

I have a leotard, tights, and ballet slippers, but I have absolutley no idea how to wear all of it. Leotard, tights, slippers? Or, underwear, tights, leotard, slippers? Cat, toaster, leotard, ballet slippers?!

tights go first then leotard never wear underware they show
tights,leotard,slippers (suggest u wear shorts over your leotard if u wear underwear)

You have to be kidding. You wear them the same as any bodysuit. tights first, leotard second, slippers over your tights unless you want to put your slippers on first , yea that's it slippers, leotard and tights, in that order, you will look beautiful.

I am a male who dances and loves it.

Boys usually weart tight and a t-shirt or a leotard under tights.

Its important that boys wear a dance belt too.

Girls usually wear tights under their leotard and no underwear.

Ask your dance school what their preferences are.

It really depends on your ballet school about the underwear issue. I've found that more professional ballet schools don't allow you to wear them because they show underneath your leotard. Talk to your teacher first.

So back to the outfit. First put on the tights. Then pull the leotard over the tights. Since your feet are covered with tights already, you'll be putting your slippers over your tights.
